Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows * * * *

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling

a worthy end

WARNING SPOILERS AFTER CUT

well i thoroughly enjoyed that -- a little surreal and mysterious in places ie the Deathly Hallows
it was nice to be right that Severus was a goody and Harry was a Horcrux although the details were rather different from what I imagined although that is all to the good. Poor Doby, Remus, Tonks and Fred although I'm rather relieved that JKR wasn't as ruthless as I thought she was going to be. The handling of the revealations about Severus was particularly well done. I had guessed that he had been in love with Lily but having this revealed via the Pensieve was, as Ron would say "brilliant". I liked the fact that in the final duel Harry tries to disarm Voldemort with Expelliarmus rather than trying to kill him. The final book fits.
