First Among Sequels by Jasper Fforde

excellent -- whilst the Nursery Crime novels are good this is a return to form
SPOILERS AFTER CUT

Wonderful -- nice use of Pride and Prejudice and i particularly like the idea of the Long Now and the explaination for the decline in reading rates being due to the time mining by the Chronoguard and when Thursday goes out into the Nothing and we have a set of pictures instead of text (which reminded me of Tristram Shandy)
